Research on the Development and Summary of China's National Medical Insurance Service Platform APP

Abstract: The National Medical Insurance Service Platform APP is a convenient multi-functional platform developed by the National Healthcare Security Administration to facilitate Chinese citizens to inquire about and use Chinese medical insurance. With the full completion of China's national unified medical insurance information platform in 2022, the National Medical Insurance Service Platform APP has emerged as a core carrier for advancing the digital transformation of medical insurance services. This study takes the APP as the research object, adopts mixed research methods including case study and comparative analysis, and systematically delineates its development phases (start-up period: 2019-2021; development period: 2022-2023; upgrade period: 2024-present).
