Abstract: This paper presents the design and development of Smart Language Tutor, an AI-driven instructionaltool aimed at enhancing English language proficiency through interactive, real-time conversations. Thesystem integrates advanced language models with text-to-speech (TTS) technologies to deliver personalizedand engaging learning experiences. Through a messenger-style interface, users interact with virtual tutors—each offering a distinct teaching style—to practice grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, andconversational English. Features such as instant feedback and speech playback enhance user engagementand support language development. Developed using the Next.js framework, the application serves as a casestudy in the practical implementation of conversational AI in education.
