Abstract: The consultation on the “Start on Sustainability (SOS) Starter Kit” across micro enterprises in several European countries revealed that the initiative has been highly effective in creating awareness and encouraging businesses to adopt sustainable practices. Enterprises generally define sustainability as minimizing environmental impact, improving efficiency, and ensuring long-term business viability while also contributing to social well-being through education, community engagement, and ethical practices. Sustainability is regarded as essential not only for environmental and societal benefits but also for reputation, innovation, customer trust, and business opportunities.
