Abstract: This article examines the motivational, individual psychological, social, and organizational-pedagogical factors influencing the development of students' intellectual abilities through metacognitive strategies. A total of 280 students from the 7th and 9th grades participated in the study. The Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ), developed by P.R. Pintrich, A.F. Smith, T. Garcia, and W.J. McKeachie, along with H. Gardner's Multiple Intelligences assessment method, was used to investigate correlations between motivational factors and different types of intelligence. The findings revealed positive correlations between intrinsic goal orientation, task value, self-efficacy for learning performance, elaboration, critical thinking, and metacognitive self-regulation and linguistic, logical-mathematical, and personal intelligences. Furthermore, the study highlights the significance of students' age-related characteristics, independent thinking, reflective abilities, and the educational environment in the application of metacognitive strategies. The findings substantiate the importance of psychological and pedagogical approaches aimed at strengthening intrinsic motivation, improving self-monitoring, and enhancing reflective activities to promote the development of students' intellectual potential.
