Penerapan Media Ular Tangga Berbasis PBL untuk Pembelajaran Fakta dan Opini di Sekolah Dasar
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This study aimed to describe the implementation of the Pirate Mission Snakes and Ladders media in Indonesian language learning on facts and opinions in elementary schools. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using the problem based learning (PBL) model. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews with teachers and pupils. The results indicate that lesson planning was systematically conducted according to the teaching module, while PBL implementation supported pupils’ abilities to identify features, distinguish facts from opinions, provide logical reasoning, and communicate discussion outcomes. Obstacles included unequal teacher attention, initial media readiness, and differences in learning speed. These obstacles were addressed through intensive guidance, time management, and peer tutoring. The learning process fostered pupil enthusiasm and active engagement. Integrating PBL with game-based media provides a contextual and meaningful alternative for language learning in elementary schools.
