Abstract: Coffee is a plantation commodity that has evolved into a promising business opportunity for young entrepreneurs, particularly in the coffee beverage industry. One example is Twins and Co, a business that offers a variety of coffee based drinks, including the banoffee drink a blend of coffee, milk, and banana syrup. The younger generation today tends to favor coffee beverages mixed with milk. However, consumer interest in the banoffee drink remains low, as it has failed to meet its targeted sales figures, despite being priced similarly to other signature drinks. Therefore, research is needed to identify the factors contributing to the drink’s underperformance in sales. This study aims to examine consumer perception of the banoffee drink. The assessment is based on indicators such as aroma, acidity, flavor, aftertaste, price, and visual appearance, referencing the framework by Penggabean and Damanik. The research applies a quantitative descriptive analysis method, using data collected through questionnaires completed by 70 respondents and analyzed using a Likert scale. The overall evaluation of the banoffee drink resulted in a mean score of 3.35, categorized as fairly good.
