Impact of dabur's rural marketing strategies on consumer buying behaviour

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: India, a country of over 1.4 billion people, has more than 65% of its population living in rural areas. These rural regions represent a vast and largely untapped market with immense potential for consumer goods companies. As rural incomes rise and infrastructure improves, consumer behavior in these areas is rapidly evolving, presenting new challenges and opportunities forbusinesses. Companies can no longer ignore rural markets as mere extensions of urban strategies. Instead, they require customized approaches tailored to local conditions, preferences, and limitations.
